Kadikalesi

   Kadıkalesi is a small, simple and pleasant seaside resort on the Bodrum Peninsula just north of Turgutreis.

   Despite its somewhat ominous name, Kadıkalesi is a surprisingly cheerful little village much akin to the sort of village one found all over the Bodrum Peninsula decades ago.

   Most all of the other villages have become towns, but Kadıkalesi retains its small-village ambience, with a wysteria-bedecked mosque, old eucalyptus trees, short and simple main street leading to the beach, a few shops, café-bars and restaurants.
